Commonwealth Contractors is a builder of additions, major renovations, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse projects. Founded by Luke Roark, Commonwealth began the old way: in the field, learning the work, earning trust, and taking responsibility for the result. It grew from a simple inheritance: respect the work, speak honestly, and leave things better than you found them.

Commonwealth is selective by design. We take on fewer projects so we can understand the building, define the scope, price the work plainly, and lead the job properly from planning through closeout. Our work includes homes, historic properties, and commercial buildings adapted for a new purpose.

The building may change. The standard does not. We are part of the communities where we work. We support preservation, the trades, and the organizations that strengthen the places entrusted to us. A commonwealth is a community held in trust.
