Assessing Damage of Keswick Home Explosion

Commonwealth Contractors supported Keswick neighbors after the Glenmore house explosion, offering free structural guidance and insurance advice with no business intent.

Supporting Our Neighbors After the Keswick Explosion

On Tuesday evening our community was shaken by the tragic home explosion in the Glenmore neighborhood of Keswick. The blast claimed one life, left another critically injured, and caused significant damage to surrounding homes.

The next day we went out to Glenmore not as contractors seeking work, but as neighbors wanting to help. We walked the area to assist homeowners in understanding the true extent of the damage to their properties. In some cases, what looked like cosmetic issues actually revealed structural concerns such as wall seals separating from the house frame.

We offered free guidance on how to work with insurance adjusters, when to involve engineers, and how to approach restoration companies. We want to be clear that this was not about business. Commonwealth Contractors does not take on insurance restoration jobs. Our goal was simply to provide reassurance and practical advice during a very difficult time for our neighbors.

At Commonwealth Contractors we believe that community comes first. When tragedy strikes, standing alongside our neighbors is what matters most.
